| Description: | In 2006, the ASTRA Awards moved from Wharf 8 to the Horden Pavilion at The Entertainment Quarter. Brendan Moar hosted the show, with appearances from Steve Liebman, Yumi Stynes, James Mathison, Peter Evans and Amanda Keller. Star-spotters would have been thrilled with the celebrity guest count on the red carpet: Sophie Falkiner, Rebecca Gibney, Asha Keddie, Brendan Cowell, Lisa Hensley and Erika Heynatz to name but a few. Highlights of the night included a cornucopia of fabulous food, provided again by Belinda Franks Catering, and the after party staged under a canopy of stars in the forecourt of the venue. |
